Booking gutter cleaning in Altamonte Springs

A good visit is easy to recognize once you know what it should contain. Use this page as a checklist for the conversation with us, or with any gutter company.

What a thorough visit should contain

At minimum, expect debris to come out of the full length of every gutter, not only the spots that are easy to reach. Ask whether the outlets are cleared, since that is where blockages begin, and whether water gets run through afterward as a test. That is how we work a visit: clear the runs, flush the downspouts, check that water leaves the roofline.

It is fair to ask for proof of work, such as before and after photos. Also ask whether you will be told about loose hangers, sagging runs or open seams. We clean gutters and downspouts only; we do not do roof repair or gutter replacement, so anything like that is flagged to you rather than quoted as part of the clean-out.

  • Whole-length clean-out
  • Outlets checked
  • Water test
  • Photos on request

Questions worth asking before you agree

Credentials are worth asking about with any company, including us, and they vary. We have not found a source confirming a specific license for gutter cleaning in Florida, though roofing is licensed, so the simplest approach is to ask what a company holds and what insurance covers if a ladder scratches a window or a fascia board cracks. We do not make licensing or insurance claims on this site.

Then ask about logistics: how long the visit should take, whether you need to be home, how debris is handled (bagged and hauled, or dropped to the beds), and how landscaping beneath the roofline is treated. Agree on those points in writing, even if it is a text message. When we call to confirm your details, we are glad to go through each one.

What shapes the price

Our own quote depends on your home and is given after we see the details. For a sense of scale, Angi reports an Orlando average near $171, with most jobs between roughly $119 and $230. This Old House gives $120 to $225 and says taller homes cost more. Those are third-party market estimates, not our prices.

Expect any number to move with linear footage, the number of stories, roof pitch, access around the house and how packed the gutters are. A company that quotes sight unseen should say what assumptions that figure rests on. Compare with the downspout page if flushing is separate.
